Samsung has introduced its 2021 flagship Galaxy S21 series smartphones which includes the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra. The Galaxy S21 series smartphone come with a new chipset supporting 5G along with a range of new features. India will be among the first countries where the latest Galaxy S21 series smartphone will be available. Here are all details you need to know before buying.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the top-end version while S21 and S21+ are similar
The Galaxy S21 Ultra is top-end model in the S21 series offering all the new software and four camera features along with support for S-Pen stylus. The other two phones– S21 and S21+– mainly different in screen size and battery. Also, these two phones have a three camera setup and no S-Pen support.
All the three Samsung Galaxy S21 series phone run same Exynos chip
The new Galaxy S21 series smartphones are powered by the latest 5nm-based Exynos 2100 5G SoC, which is claimed to be faster, more power-efficient and has better heat management. Samsung claims 20% better CPU performance, 35% GPU performance and AI works 2X better.

The Galaxy S21 series flaunts a latest back panel design. While the S21 Ultra is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on front and back, the S21 and S21plus have polycarbonate back panels which look similar to glass.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series phones will be available in six colours
The Galaxy S21 smartphones series will be available in six colours– Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Violet, Phantom White, Phantom Grey and Phantom Pink.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra claims one of the best cameras among Android phones
The S21 Ultra has a four camera setup with 12Mega Pixel Dual Pixel A/F Ultra wide, Phase Detection A/F F1.8 wide and two telephoto lenses of 10Mega Pixel each with 3X and 10X optical zoom respectively. There’s 100X digital zoom and laser auto focus. Samsung has introduced a latest Zoom lock feature which stabilises photos when you are using high zoom for good clarity….
The S21 Ultra lets you record 8K videos at 24FPS. Also, you can shoot in 4K at 60fps across all lenses including front and rear four lenses. There’s a 12-bit RAW file option as well….
You can unlock car doors of certain models using the Galaxy S21 Ultra
With Ultra-wideband capabilities (UWB) you will be able to use your Galaxy S21 Ultra to automatically unlock compatible car doors without pulling out your keys. This feature is available for some cars likes- Audi, BMW, Ford and Genesis.
Galaxy S21 Ultra supports the S-Pen stylus:
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra borrow S-Pen support from Galaxy Note series. It is the only mobile to offer S-Pen stylus compatibility apart from the Galaxy Note series phones. But before you get your hopes high, understand that Samsung isn’t offering the S-Pen stylus out-of-the-box and there’s no slot for it within the phone, like in Galaxy Note devices, where you tuck it and forget.
Samsung isn’t providing charger, earphones and microSD card support with Galaxy S21 smartphones series
Samsung has announced that there’ll be no free earphones or charging adapter inside the box of any of the Galaxy S21 series phones. Samsung has also eliminated the microSD card slot from the Galaxy S21 series.

Interested buyers can advance-book the Galaxy S21 smartphones Series starting January 15.Advance-booked consumers will start getting deliveries on January 25, while Galaxy S21 Series goes on sale in India on January 29
