Instagram will probably launch a bonus payment program for creators soon. This feature will be add to Instagram Reels, through which users will be able to earn money by making short videos.

Instagram Reels bonus:
According to a screenshot shared by Paluzzi, Instagram will ask its users to participate in this bonus program after the feature is operational. To earn money, users have to reach some “bonus threshold”. Users will also be able to track this progress. It is expected that this bonus will be given on the basis of users’ upload volume or audience engagement metrics.
At present, there is no information about this feature from Instagram. The platform will probably announce the feature as the launch date approaches. Recently Instagram started the analytics Insight for Reels and IG Live with the help of creators to check the engagement and reach of videos. Now these features seem to be preparing for Instagram’s alleged bonus program.
Who is paying for making short videos?
If Instagram starts paying for Reels’ short videos, it will not be the first social media platform to do so. Snapchat has run a similar bonus system to promote its short video service Spotlight. Snapchat is spending $ 1 million every day to reward those who put “the best video content” on their platform. YouTube has also started a shorts fund to promote its short video service YouTube Shorts.
